The Mint Restaurant & Bar (2014年4月15日)


是日Mr.T 中午來電話晏晝要去Glasgow 見客,
見完客唔再返愛丁堡office,變相臨時多咗半日假!
叫我去town 行街等佢見完客,同我會合去街食飯~

原本約定既時間應該都係食early dinner,
所以去town 之前我喺屋企煎咗塊扒食當午餐~
點知到咗town 後,Mr.T 比預期早咗好多見完客,
不過我塊扒仲未消化.......所以行街行咗3粒鐘後,
最終去咗屋企附近既The Mint 食飯!

初搬來時成日去The Mint,
佢地以前有個lamb shank 好好味!
但唔知點解後來無咗? 
自從無咗個lamb shank 後,已經好少去~
今次發現餐牌改咗喎........


Mr.T 既頭盆Chilli beef oven roasted nachos with two cheeses & sour cream
熱辣辣勁多餡,唔錯~


我既頭盆Chicken Liver Pate
The Mint 既雞肝醬一直都好好味! 幾乎每次去幫襯,頭盆都係點依個!!
我食雞肝醬一向好少沾果個cumberland sauce,
不過The Mint 既cumberland sauce 好正,係一個例外~


Mr.T 主菜Steak pie
The Mint 既steak pie 好出名,佢地又好自豪......
食過就知點解嘞! 因為真係好好食!! 尤其係佢個gravy~~~


Pie 既牛肉滿滿唔孤寒,燉得入味又軟腍!
我一向唔多好steak pie 都覺得好好食~


我既主菜Peppercorn chicken
一路食我一路唸: 究竟點先可以煮到塊雞胸咁軟又咁juicy 呢?
好簡單既一道菜,靈魂其實在於個creamy peppercorn sauce,
但連個雞胸都煮得咁正,真係錦上添花!

個汁...係我暫時食過最好味既peppercorn sauce!!
其實我唔想讚佢...因為好味過我自己煮既peppercorn sauce......

烚菜又好鮮甜脆卜卜...唯一要彈係果pat 薯蓉 - 無落牛油無忌廉,
雖然好健康,但口感好粉好鞋又唔香......


雖然餐牌上仍然無lamb shank,不過依餐的確好食!
令我有原因再次多d幫襯The Mint~

  1. Hey V, I think the chicken breast cooked in sous vide oven or poached. By looking at the mashed potatoes, you can tell it's not silky smooth, a sub par product! Sorry, I love mashed yams, potatoes!
