City Merchant (Seafood) - 5th Wedding Anniversary Dinner (2011年10月16日)


依餐係慶祝已過咗幾日既結婚5週年~
結婚週年正日係我食花齋既日子,所以今餐補返數!

Glasgow 天氣已經凍咗好多,樹葉都落得七七八八變到光禿禿,

不過唔知點解我好想好想好想食凍冰冰既生蠔!

想食生蠔,我就好自然唸起Rogano, Gamba......


同埋City Merchant!


City Merchant 係Glasgow 另一間出名既海鮮餐廳~

好耐之前同老公去過幾次,不過我地已經好多年無去過嘞!


臨時決定去依度,所以無訂枱,

不過我地到時餐廳剛開門,我地係是晚第一枱客人!


所以點菜後好快就有野食嘞!



我既頭盆 - 生蠔半打~

即開新鮮肥美生蠔好鮮甜呢! 

我超級enjoy! 每食一隻都忍唔住發出"唔~ 唔~ 唔~"咁既聲!!



老公既頭盆 - Cullen Skink~

Cullen Skink 係一個傳統蘇格蘭,用奶 + 煙魚煮成既湯~
Cullen 係蘇格蘭東北面Morayshire 既一個沿海小漁港;

"skink"依個字係源自一種叫做"Gaelic" 既蘇格蘭方言 - 類似我地中國人既客家話、潮州話之類......

而Culllen Skink 係"Culllen 之精華"既意思。

City Merchant 既
Culllen Skink,正就正在啖啖魚肉多過湯~

其實依個湯我之前都煮過! (Culllen Skink 食譜click here~)

老公點咗依個湯,我先發現自己原來好鬼孤寒!
因為我自己煮既version 最多既係薯仔......

我既主菜 - Bouillabaisse (馬賽魚湯)~
依個係是晚special來!

本來都擔心只食個湯會唔夠飽......

但依個Bouillabaisse 材料真係好豐富啊! 有大蝦、langoustines (中間果隻類似小龍蝦既物體!)、藍青口、帶子、仲有下面好大塊白肉魚柳......and 2塊"浸滿"蒜蓉牛油既garlic bread~


老公主菜 - 半生熟燒鴨胸配香蔥薯蓉~

 

初時見到餐牌寫住"served medium rare",有少少擔心會好多血水 + 有鴨腥氣......


不過依個擔心係多餘既! 因為粉紅色既鴨胸異常嫩滑~

配埋redcurrant 煮既汁簡直好味到不得了!!
 




依餐飯既食後感......
就同過去5年我做咗Mrs.T 既感覺一樣 - 充滿幸福 + 滿足既味道!

    Anyway, 想請敎你一個問題, 我想買隻鑊黎炒菜.想問下MRS.T 本身用咩鑊黎炒菜? 我本身用平底鑊法國T-fal, 唔知點解成日個鑊會中心凸起.. 可能唔識合用黎著中菜, 換左幾次都係一樣, 煮左一段時間就會咁. 請問Mrs. T 有咩鑊好介紹..?

    [版主回覆10/19/2011 22:38:55]其實根本都唔可以咁去比較價錢喎! 香港本身無生產生食既蠔,全部靠外國入口,最少運費都要加埋落成本度,價錢當然會貴啦! 另外來自唔同國家唔同種類生蠔又唔同價...至於我上面食果碟係產自West Coast of Scotland 既本地野~ ^^

  17. Happy anniversary!睇到妳的食物流哂口水!我會試跟妳的食譜整個魚湯。很多謝妳的食譜分享!妳上次介紹個陶瓷鑊真的非常好用,我每日煮餸時到想起妳,而且睇過妳對這鍋的安全性講解,所以每日煮餸時唔使諗用易潔定生鐵,真的煮得安心又開心!謝謝妳的好推介!
