上星期五(10月9日)我突破咗自己 - 焗咗個雜果忌廉蛋糕慶祝結婚2週年~ 不過依個蛋糕並唔成功! 因為......
(1) 我用錯忌廉!
我想做既係港式好light 既忌廉蛋糕~ (西方人果種蛋糕好厚重!) 不過網上既港式忌廉蛋糕食譜全部係中文,所以我一路以為做忌廉蛋糕用既係whipped cream! 咁我就唸住買whipping cream 返來自己打......但係星期五果日Asda 一盒whipping cream 都冇!
我一路唧忌廉出來鋪蛋糕,一路都覺得好奇怪 - 點解天氣咁凍,忌廉都會咁快溶既??? 最上面完成品張相係剛剛完成時影既! 但周圍既忌廉唧花已經溶溶地......
老公話應該係Asda 既枝裝忌廉太cheap......不過我就覺得另有原因! 於是我就努力搵出錯喺邊度......
原來我用既唧筒裝Whipped 甜忌廉,只係用於食甜品前先唧出來伴食! 而Whipping Cream 係唔完全唔適合用來做忌廉蛋糕!!! 做忌廉蛋糕應該用Double cream 加糖來打發~~~
(2) N年前雖然焗過生日蛋糕比老公,我當時用西人Sponge Cake 食譜~ 不過據我估計,應該係放入焗爐時放得太高,所以焗到外面熟哂 + 好深色,但裡面就唔熟! 而且熟既部份亦唔海綿~ 蛋糕質地好實,完全唔鬆軟.......
之後我就只焗過細隻既杯仔蛋糕,冇再焗成個大蛋糕嘞~~~~~ 直至上星期五......
今次我上網搵咗個中文海綿蛋糕食譜......不過都係衰咗! 而且完全唔知錯喺邊度!!! 我已經跟足材料份量溫度時間......所以最終都要用咗包現成蛋糕粉~~~~~
雖然我焗蛋糕唔掂,但我仍然記得2000年用西人食譜焗既大姑窿蛋糕,材料溝出來時,質地應該係好似雞蛋仔既粉漿咁杰; 但依個網上中文食譜,材料溝出來就好稀! 我唸就係因為依個原因,所以蛋糕唔發......
反而包現成蛋糕粉好有驚喜! 材料溝出來質地正常地杰 + 焗出既蛋糕好海綿~~~
雖然我既第2 Cake 仍然係唔成功...但其實味道口感,都好似港式忌廉蛋糕!

因為今次我既材料係現成...毫無難度可言! 所以我先冇出食譜! 如果下次我親手焗得成功,一定會將過程貼出來!
烘焙用品既店舖我都找過了, 我想用這個膠刮來做腸粉及蛋糕, 但網上就未找過, 因肥佬信不過網上交易, 所以好少找online的貨。

好老實~ 基本上我好懷疑果個人個海綿蛋糕食譜 - 究竟係咪真係可以焗到好似佢張相咁靚? 係邊個網就唔好講嘞~ 廢事壞人招牌! 不過我之前亦參考過其他中文食譜 - 人地用4隻蛋,佢又用4隻蛋....但佢其他材料都好鬼多~ 所以溝出來超稀! (但我以為咁先會鬆軟~ 點知原來會相反!!!)
其實我之前都見過有人話佢既食譜"麻麻地 + 唔知點解咁多人話好?" 我見佢個食譜比其他容易,先揀佢果個來試咋!
Not at all ~~ I remember it is whipped cream on the package......president is French......maybe they mix that up. I puzzle the name too and I also think you whip a whipping cream to become whipped cream.......anyway..........that's why I quote whipped cream.

yes! but lazy susan not just for serving chinese dishes wo~ anyway the shop i went to buy my baking tool was a hobby shop, they called the little turing table "mini lazy susan"!
好想食喔....你用什麼焗爐的 !?

我都係搞唔清楚D cream 呀!我住響Sydney,一般既supermarket我只找到 thickened cream, double cream, whipping cream ....,有D中文食譜要淡忌廉,我都唔知係咩,你有冇資料呀?

我依度都無淡忌廉呀,我都係用double cream 打架咋! 見過有網友話double cream 太肥,所以改用一半double cream + 一半whipping cream~
咁妳知唔知淡忌廉既英文名?

不過妳果邊咁鬼咋既......我今日先去過我依邊既John Lewis + Lakeland,2間都有蛋糕切割器賣喎! 妳不如去Lakeland website online order 啦!
我呢度的確係一個鬼地方, 唉... 唔好話JOHN LEWIS啦, 我呢度D超市, D貸架經常都空空如也, 咩都無... 就算唔係大間o既tesco都係咁.. d野又唔新鮮, 夠擔死d肉未過期, 但一買返屋企就臭o既!!
